Nice review.I've got a balanced power iso trannie, 2 P300s, and a PPP.
I noticed the following:
- the P300 sounds fantastic plugged into balanced power, better than the PPP
- the PPP sounds better than just balanced power, the PPP sound best plugged directly into the wall, not on balanced power, PS Audio says that's normal since all the filtering, regen... is done on the hot leg only
This all makes me consider getting the mods.
The other advantage of the last gen. P300 is that you can fine tune the Hz to get the AC motor of a turntable to spin bang on - just like all the expensive units like the Lingo...
