"I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you replace the center bolt of the transformer with a non-ferrous one (bronze or even nylon), there were some pluses to be heard."The Mecury Magnetics transformer is not a Toroid type transformer and thus has 4 bolts that hold it down via 2 thick SS straps around the transformer.
Just inserting the rubber grommets between the transformer and the bottom panel help out alot. I also installed a Tekna-Sonics C-5 vibration absorber to the bottom panel next to the transformer with VERY good results.
