I'm very doubtful about the synergy thing as I've noticed a similar recovery of hf audio information in my hdtv system as well as my audio system. I'm not talking about a slight difference, it was causing a similar loss of treble that you would expect from a buildup of wax in your ear! Also, I was happy with the results at the beginning. I've not used my system that much over the last few months, so would that make a difference? I'm not sure about the lowering of resistance thing either as since I cleaned the QS off the power amp mains plug/socket, the bass has deepened and tightened slightly which would mean the contact has lower resistance now.
