RE: Ultimo break in period?

i hated this receptacle when i first added it into my system. it's presentation was thin, rolled off in the hf and the bass was anemic. after a week, i put the olf furutech back in. now i run everything through a cryoed swo-xxx ultimo. it was a difficult experience, that finally ended up being well worth the time spent. how much time? well, i let mine burn-in for almost six months and was on my final trial back in the system before returning the thing. i'm still not sure if it's the oyaide i like so much, or if it's just the synergy between this receptacle and the elrod signature power cables, but i'm extremely pleased now. i'm not sure if that helps you, but at least there was a bright light at the end of the tunnel for this guy.
