Don't worry

about the AC frequency fluctuation. IIRC the government has very strict regulations about maintaining the 60HZ AC. If the frequency were to be off even slightly, the various feeder plants would cause cancellation and loss of power. IIRC, the figure was .1% or less. Even the clock chips in your digital appliances reference the 60HZ AC frequency, subdividing it into 36K and then counting the divisions to get your seconds, minutes and hours.
Besides, many TT's use an AC motor any way and the reference is again to the 60 HZ standard (or 50 HZ if you live outside of North America).
