Most "common" fuses use a copper element. See the descriptions of fuses at Digi-Key.com. That leaves the extremely thin gold plating (flashing?) of the PS and HiFi Tuning fuses as the only difference.
Do you think you can hear the difference between a tin/cad plated fuse and a gold plated fuse? Maybe you can.
Some claim that tin/cad plating is better than gold. It is smoother than gold, which looks like jagged mountain peaks under extreme magnification. I would still rather have gold though!
