It is abolutely impossible to hear a difference between a good new fuse and the OFC/gold ones.
If you use your equipment every day, the fuses should be replaced every six months or so anyway.
Buy sets of all the fuses you use from Digi-Key (.com). Buss and Littelfuse are very high quality fuses.
I would not even trust the ratings on those "premium" fuses. Also are they fast or slow blow?
I am completely ashamed of Paul McGowan too. He has no credibility with me now. He should know better and surely does.
