Hi mattcecil1@yahoo.com,"In your opinion, what are the better type of quick on/off connectors??... My new hawthorne SI's have nice gold ones on the x-over and drivers...i looked at partsExpress for something similar but couldn't find anything. I want to try difft sp cables from the x-over to the drivers..."
See link for what looks to be as good as I've seen for sale online:

"On a difft part of the system, my new monoblocks...if I get the Furu IEC inlets should I use the screwdown clamps or solder them??"
I have tried to communicate in this thread: If you select an FI-09 use the *clamping screws*, DON'T SOLDER THE CONNECTIONS. If you select an FI-10 use the *set screws*, DON'T SOLDER THE CONNECTIONS. If you select an INLET(G) YES, SOLDER THE CONNECTIONS.
Make sure a replacement IEC inlet will fit the stock IEC inlet opening unless you are willing and able to enlarge the opening. The top of the line Furutech FI-09(G) is excellent so I've been told, but it would likely require an enlargement of the opening. The Furutech FI-10(G) is also great, but it also might require an enlargement. The Furutech INLET(G) is a very worthy upgrade and would likely fit without issue.
