i'm thinking of getting an A-08S kit in lieu of purchasing the constructed amp partially for the fun of building an amp, for the pride of owning something i "built", and to save some scratch. however, i've never built an amp before. i've seen some images from the DIY kit manual and it looks fairly straightforward. my main concern is will this be a solder together and let 'er rip job or will i have to build, test, and tweak? granted, i'm sure i'll have to test some of the operating points with a voltmeter to ensure it's working properly. i'm just concerned about how in depth this project could really be to a novice. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks much.kevin t
