Put filters where the cable impedance changes.

The cable has an RF impedance determined by the geometry and conductivity/permeability of the materials. A cable will have a constant impedance as long as it has a uniform geometry. The termination of the cable is where the geometry changes, and this is where the reflections take place.

R-C networks to provide dynamic loading should be attached as close as possible to the point at the end of the cable where the geometry changes. This is generally at the spade connectors. Attaching the R-C networks to the drivers is less effective, since the reflections take place where the cable is attached to the binding posts. There will be considerable wire length between the binding posts and the speaker drivers.

The "Magic Twins" appear to be tuned circuits centered on 27 KHz. They will not affect the VHF and UHF bands where most audio cables have their resonant modes. They might affect the stability of some audio circuits that employ feedback, so use them with care!
