Dear Srajan,I use 4 x 0.22uF VCAPS in my DIY 300B SET. They replaced (old) Jensen PIO's, and the (an) improvement was quite clear immediately.
My ‘break in’ experiences are similar to that of A.J. I only can add that in the first 200 hours I had (more) difficulty to get 'emotionally' touched by the music, while rationally the perfomance had improved a lot in all areas.
After some 200 hours I was able to get moved by the music as before while experiencing also the more rational improvements. After 1000 hours or so I can say that the VCAPS are for me everything one can expect from a (coupling) cap.
Sometimes I wonder however if they are not TOO good. Sometimes true beauty lies in imperfection.
