This question is to owners of machines which either use V-Caps standard or modders who've replaced stock caps with V-Caps. I also posted on "General" before it occurred to me that this was the more appropriate forum -:)What is your take on cap break-in and how long? I've got a machine in-house right now that sounded anything but impressive at first though 150 hours later, it's changing in very obvious ways when compared to my fixed reference. Curiously, the manufacturer insists that V-Caps sound great out of the gate (so perhaps something else is breaking in).
Still, I'm curious whether others with experience of these parts have any input.
Thanks.
