Thanks guys for all of the responses!I've got a black Lack table and it has particle board at the very end of each of its legs. Knocking on the side of one leg, I think the particle board goes up maybe 1/4 of the way? Its enough to screw spikes into. I wonder if I could drill a hole in the top and fill the leg with something? Caulk maybe?
I think I might try to give IKEA a call to see if they can tell me.
