Interesting comment about the dullness of this recipe. I had the same experience with every Eichman-based IC I ever made - whether it was the original Bullets or the Silver. And the only wire I ever used was solid core silver, ranging from Cardas 23ga to custom made/drawn pure silver up through 30ga. I have since sold all my Eichmans because I am convinced there is something about either the "plastic" body or their connector design that deadens things. Of course, this is just me, my ears (cleaned out every day) and my system. But all of my other ICs provide better clarity than anything that used Bullets.
