I am considering replacing some wire wound inductors with foil wound and have a few questions. What is the best way to insulate the bare foil leads? Teflon tape maybe? Should the inductor be insulated from a metal enclosure? Or should it be mounted with nylon or rubber washers under it? Can it be mounted directly to the metal? Finally, any tips on how to solder foil to posts and wires would be helpfull. This is a first for me, so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Bob D
