Yeah, thats what I meant by things to do structuraly etc. The legs would have to braced to one another at the top end too, perhaps with a half inch thick mdf horizontal top plate with holes for the rod to pass through, but not touch. Another bonus being triangular. It would then become inherently very rigid- a triangular prisim.
