Thanks for all of your replies. This project is sounding more like an experiment to me than a simple parts-swap upgrade. And since owner-upgrades can negatively effect resale values, I think I will let Response Audio, with their vast experience upgrading both the Hurricane and Monsoon amps, do the deed.Thanks again,
