Measurements are not the beall and endall even tho meter readers won't accept anything they can't measure. One of the oldest pronouncements in audio is "Measures great, sounds terrible". You sound like a Julian Hirsch adherant. Some years ago he did a review of the then new Adcom amp which everyone was raving about. The review ran 8 pages and I had to read it twice to believe it: not one word on what it sounded like. But then, why should he listen to it ? he had measured it. Your ears are the best graphs and measurements, and the only ones that count. I hope you continue to measure your equipment instead of listening to it. Nothing like a measurement high.
