Thanks @Jon L yes I have bi-amped before, and probably should have said my subs are powered separately now. I can fill in a 200hz now with crossovers I have, and should probably say its not the quantity of frequency but the quality of frequency (tone, texture, velvety presentation) I've heard before with some of my other switchable triode amps with switchable triode BUT only with EL34 KT88 tubes. Not with 211 or 845 tubes yet.Reading comments I'm running 650v to each tube now and not sure I really want 1000v tubes so I may bail on this idea and have a set of EL34 monos I can swap in/out with my other Mono 120s with KT120s in them now. I really cannot complain about the existing UL KT120 mono amps I have now, and I've tried at least 30 different pairs of small driver/input tubes so I can move the needle in either direction this way too - so I guess I can just leave it as-is, LOL, thats the catch and tickler, those who can help but keep messing with it, LOL. Thanks though.
