I have a quad of Tung Sol KT120's which i tried in my Quicksilver Silver 90's before, but only set the bias to 90 And wasn't impressed. I just rolled them back in with a bias of 100 & they sound more lively with better bass. I would like to know the recommended bias setting & what would you set the bias too. Ive heard they can run the tranny's hot, but with the massive transformers these have they're barely breaking a sweat! Also i have pair of Tung Sol 6550's i'd like to try again and am wondering what the recommended bias would be for them. Most of the amps i have/had have been auto bias, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
