I figured this thread would pull some of the old 12au7 lovers in! That is a great list! I would love to hear any of them, but as you say, they are quite rare on this side of the Atlantic. So, are we splitting hairs here? Are all of these so good that the differences are very slight? Or are some of your "unobtanium" types head and shoulders above the Raytheons to your ear? Yes, I know it is all system dependent, but are some of them a lot better in your experience?cheers,
