"K" and "J O" will not be any Telefunken date codes per se. They may relate to the date of the Fisher branding, I'd have to think about that. The codes printed on the top of the non-Fisher tube also aren't date codes, rather they relate to the warranty registration, some other W. German made tubes have this as well. If it has intact date codes, they'll be separate, lower on the glass.
The two small-case letter codes listed on the Brent Jessee site weren't the only system used by Telefunken for dating, especially during the period of most of the smooth plates. In terms of when and where, the smooth plates seem to have started around the beginning of 1962, possibly slightly earlier. The vast majority of them that do have intact factory codes indicate Berlin factory, although I couldn't say that there weren't any made at the other W. German Telefunken plant down south in Ulm. My understanding is that in the '60s Telefunken generally tried to make a given type at a single designated factory, but deviated from this when needed esp w/high volume types.
