Thanks for reply . The amp does not have a standby switch but i will double check the pins are at the correct location. Atleast i got more confidence to plug-in the tubes since air has not yet entered the tube. It may be a slight scratch but not really penetrated the glass. Is there a posibility of breakage/explosion if the crack worsens due to heat in the future ?
