The rectifier tube in one amp of a monobloc pair, has begun to flash (bright blue/white) on turn on. There is no noise from the amp and it appears to work fine when warmed up. A friend of mine who is very experienced said that the rectifier is going bad, but did not think it was an urgent matter.My question is whether there is a potential for serious damage to my equipment from operating it in this condition. Should I not play the amp until I get a replacement rectifier?
