The max. plate dissipation of 45 W. is the key. Any combination of plate voltage and plate current that's within the allowable maxima for those parameters and also stays within the 45 W. dissipation limit is OK, electrically. How it will sound is at any given set of operating conditions is do be determined.The 300BXLS is close enough to a "standard" 300B for 300B info. to be relevant. I've linked a chart of 300B operating conditions below.
