Thanks everyone, I know more now than I did before posting. Eli, I e-mailed Jim McShane, looks like he'll be out of the office a while, I can wait. So, it's down to JJ's, Tesla's, Telefunken, or Valvo. Scratch the Sylvania's. Thanks for that one Sondek, appreciate the honesty, tell like it is. If anyone else would like to weigh in, thanks in advance. This is a huge sounding preamp, wall to wall, and everything in it's place. Glad I got it!Johnsan
