These are small-signal tubes, not power output tubes used in push-pull. It may well be that cosmetically matched tubes are not required in your amplifier if each tube shares Left & Right channel duty in following amplifier stages. Only if one tube is solely for Left channel with the other for Right channel thus both perform same duty per channels would a cosmetic match be desirable. And your tube seller may not know any more about tubes than you do, or even less.
