Thank you for your comments. The tubes are NOS, and came with a 30 day guarantee. I'll call him next week (ugh). I just think he should have at least mentioned the difference, because it sounnds like the assumption is that not only should the conductances match, but also they should be physically the same. (Also, I could pass them on, and I would feel compelled to note the difference.) Hopefully it was just a random oversight and he'll exchange them. Again, thank you for talking to me about this situation.
