I have a Jolida and I've recently replaced the power tubes with the SED's. I'm enjoying them a lot -- and it sounds like you want some of the same qualities I was looking for.These added lots of presence for voices and solo instruments. I think, though, not as much drama when listening to Berlioz, but you get a great picture of all the timbral colors. These produce a gratifyingly immersive sound... in the setup I have here.
