Hello, I'm running a Cayin TA-30. It can be biased to run EL34, KT88, or 6L6, etcetera type tubes. I've heard good things about the SED and am strongly considering these.My driver and pre stage tubes right now are the Groove Tubes 12AX7M and Mazda Chrome Plate 12AU7. The GT were an immediate improvement in every way over the EH12AX7s I was using. The Mazdas added a bit in the tone and resonance of instruments, but seem to be a bit "overextended" in the treble and get a bit edgy sometimes if that makes any sense. I'd like to upgrade these but the choices in NOS are myriad and costly.
