Well, I suppose it's possible Mullard did market a 6L6. Although the tube you show is pretty dusty, the Mullard/Gt. Britain is pretty plainly visible.I'm still somewhat wary of Mullard/British 6L6s for following reasons: 1. IEC/Mullard was a US marketing brand in later years. IEC Mullard tubes originated worldwide near the end. 2. I have a GE branded "black plate" 6L6GC whose labled county of origin is Gt. Britian. Turns out that it was really made in Japan. My Japanese 6L6GC appears to be every bit as good as any US made 6L6GC from a constructional and testing viewpoint. Since I've only got one of them at the moment, I've not listened to it yet.
A cleaner pic of internals would be helpful in id'ing your 6L6s more certainly. And I'll eat my words so to speak if anyone provides a credible reference to a true British made Mullard 6L6GC. ;-)
