Thanks for the responses. I just found it curious that in all the posts I have read about the Raytheon 5814 circa 1950's nobody has mentioned that there are two and three mica versions both with square getters. I am wondering which is the version to purchase.
I guess from Aldovan's response they are both similar in sound (indistinguishable?). Any other members who have listened to two and three mica versions of this tube, please chime in.Bart
