the sed kt88 -warm compressed midrange rolled off high end bass loose and tubby, kt88-98 (chinese) very nice nice air extention clean clear and sweet, EH kt88 light on the bass a little hot on top very nice extention and detail, penta kt88sc (solid plates) 2nd to the gl in my book warm sweet nice tonal balance top to bottom top end can be rolled off in a already warm system if you are w looking to lean out a warm system use the kt88-98
