Not worth the trouble, to my mind. There are those who believe they can hear a mouse fart at 2,000 yards. If so, good luck to them, but in this case, if you could hear the difference, your audience certainly never would. A different rectifier can certainly affect sag, and variation in B+ can affect tone, if it's big enough, but within types, like true 5Y3GTs, there's not enough variation to affect tone. I'd leave 5Y3 brand as one less thing to worry about.
