Thanks for you mail Jim.The unit is only about a month old and its the first time I've played tube gear in my system.The noise is a low hum on both channels equally and may be something usual to valve I guess.Just changed the valves one by one with a spare set I bought from the tube store (online) and it made no difference.At normal listening levels it is quite soft becoming louder if I turn up the volume.The amp (Dussun) has zero hum at any volume setting.Thanks again.
