The "getter" is the round piece that holds the getter pre-flashed material. The getter support is the rod that attaches to the round (or whatever shape) getter. The silver material is referred to as the "getter flashing"....what's flashed from the getter. A lot of people use "getter" to describe the "getter flashing", but that's technically not accurate.
