I have 4 12ax7s in my hk a300 and one 12au7.The 4 12ax7 are silver but the 12au7 is black on top, with green and purple irridesense (sp?) The 7408s are also silver on top.
Is the 12au7 bad ? I have no tester nor access to shop.
