Each and every tube I've put in my AH! has it's own sound qualties and a vast improvement over the stock tubes and change them in and out dependent on what I want to listen to.In fact, even within the same family(Amperex,Mullard) from year to year of manufacture I can hear not so subtle differences in the tubes.
You've already spent a fair sum for the AH! so by all means invest a few more dollars in some good used tubes.You'l be glad you did.Good used tubes can still be had for a reasonable price on Ebay and I have never been dissatisfied with any 6DJ8 tubes I've bought there.
