I bought a Tjoeb '99 a few years ago from Kevin Deal and it came with a stock pair of Phillips ECG 6922's. I replaced these with some Amperex A-frame getter's......frankly I couldn't hear any difference so I kept the Amperexes in and stopped spending more money on different tubes for it. It's the only tube thing I own that takes 6922's so I haven't felt the urge to bulk up on additional inventory.Maybe in your micro-environment with your system you will hear a difference...You could try putting some exotic tubes into it...but I think it may be like putting Z-series rubber onto a Toyota.
