What to do with them depends on how much you paid for them. Obviously they are fakes, and it sounds like you are stuck with them at the price you paid. Here's what I would do:Since you have a long standing relationship with the supplier, tell them that you want to send them back to him for something else. If he values your business more than he values the $$ he made on this one deal, he will perhaps send you something else in exchange and salvage the relationship, and then liquidate them himself.
Also, there is a market for those tubes, just not at the price you hoped for. If they actually sound good you will probably just have to work on getting your $$ back but it can be done. You may want to contact Stan at ESRC as he has a very large network of audio buyers and could deal with them given what they really are. He brings in new production chinese so these might right up his alley.
This is one of the reasons we have never carried large qty of Tesla or JJ tubes on our website, amongst other reasons. It seems alot of tube dealers have bought into Tesla brand tubes as the supply of more desirable brands has shrunk. Funny how they start recommenging those as the tubes to use, not because they are the tubes to use, but because it is what they have left to sell. At, www.tejastubes.com we never did buy those czech made tubes even we had the opportunity. Tubemonger, by the way, I just got in 200+ pieces of JAN 12AX7WA (both GE and Sylvania), so email me if you are interested. Joshua
