Thanks for your input and info about the Chinese plant...sounds like they are trying to do things right....and the proof is definately in the sonic quality of these tubes. And by the way, upon discovering how incredible these Shuguangs worked out in my system...you can imagine how many "tons" of every other kind of 12AX7's I've evaluated in my rig. So again, this certainly speaks volumes for the performance level of the inexpensive Chinese beauties. To answer your question about which Shuguang 12AX7 tubes these are....well they have triple micas and also appear to have some sort of shiny metal braces internally to brace the guts. Anyway, a real winner.Idler
