I hope the info I passed along is interesting. If you want to create some sort of data base of the hybrid type amps I have more info. Some of the designs are pretty nice DIY units. Unfortunately many use the old Hitachi devices which are no longer available. The IRF devices used in the old Counterpoint gear had a "shakey" reputation for reliability and are not worth using.-Tom
