Chris,That makes sense - I misstated the issue because it was misstated to me.
Bias IS in fact adjustable but I didn't know to set it to anything other than the recommended 4.8V.
You're saying I could safely run these tubes with appropriate bias voltage?
(Man... I know shitty manuals are a small price to pay for the outstanding Chinese gear we get at great prices, but sometimes I really %#@!^ hate those shitty manuals.)
