But am something less than a golden eared audiophile I must admit.Currently the CAV-50 is strapped for triode so I'm only putting out about 22 watt/channel into the Maggies. They are hogs, but I can get quite good volume for jazz or lighter music. Admittedly, they don't reach peak volumes if trying to crank hard rock.
Always best if you can test 'em out...
