The best sounding tubes in all KT88/KT90/6550 family so far IMO. And I tried almost all in my amp. Reliability can be problem in all of them, the Chineses are the worst in this respect. Especially the Valve Arts of all sorts(or maybe I had bad luck). JJ are the most balanced and clear from bass to treble and have good imaging. KT90Ei sound as big transistors with big bass(in triode,80-90ma bias), SV 6550C and KT88EH have good mid/treble/imaging but no bass impact. Penta Labs KT88 have dreadful tonality in my amp.
