I am curious on opinions on what NOS tubes are still going cheaply and have real audio potential and might be worth stashing away. El34, 12au7, 7199, GZ34 tubes are getting pretty expensive from when I got into this 5 or so years ago. So ideas like the 6DN7 which Bottlehead is designing a SET amp around and other tubes that you think are as good as the big boys just not getting the press yet. What are your thoughts (or do you think new production is getting good enough that it isn't worth it)?
