My 'poinz' type modified PPP amp has 40 WWII Sylvania 6V6 type spares, 6 spare rectifiers and 8 Raytheon 6CG7 spares. My DIY preamp has four Mullard EZ80 spares & 9 TungSol 6P5GT spares. I am still looking for some more TungSol 6P5s, Raytheon 6CG7s & a few more Mullard EZ80s.Estimated playing time with the spares is 48,000 hours when I find one more 6P5GT & two more Raytheon 6CG7 and one more Mullard EZ80.
If I use the amps 16 hours per week, I am good for 57 years. I am depending upon some break thrus in medical technology so I can live to be 113 years of age. Perhaps some bionic ears will be available as well.
