Hi,I've been reading about the JJ KT77 and how good they sound. I'm very interested in anything that is the best sounding EL34. Problem is.... the KT77 and the EL34 are not strictly the same tube. They are - but no they are not......
Now if you are running an amp that allows you to set the bias well all is ok. But if you run an amp that has been designed for self bias well you may or may not be in trouble.
Be careful....look at the curves and know what you're doing before you plug and play.
