神保町店 Jimbocho ( Japanese pops, avoid!! )

Tokyo Jazz bars/coffee shops are a dying breed; most of the places reviewed in magazines now are well outside of Tokyo; places in Tokyo I've sought out that still play vinyl I can count on the fingers of one hand
Tokyo places won't be as liberal with letting you make requests; MEG in Kichijoji has only just recently allowed patrons to TALK to each other, and that took a change of management ( ! )
A cool night out; but be warned; Tokyo-ites chain smoke in bars, you'll feel the effects the next day if you're a non smoker
