I have owned this tester and feel it is the cream of the crap. In other words, it is a very good simple emmissions tester that will test some tubes for transconductance or gm. This tester has only 4 fixed grid bias levels. Many of the newer audio tubes are tested for emissions only and many tubes that do not come close to these fixed bias levels are not tested accurately. A tester that is well built but that has many limitations if you are a serious user. Much better is the B&K 747. Just my opinon, but at least a somewhat educated one.
